My sway bar link is just... gone. Shorn right in half. How did this even happen? I feel like I would have noticed if I hit a rock or something else that could have done this. No wonder the handling doesn't feel as sharp as it did when I got the car!
Here's what it should look like:
Well, off to eBay I guess. Perhaps I could use this as an excuse to upgrade to an ACR or SRT-4 sway bar...

Get Deeza links. They are awesome.

That's actually a little worrisome.

I found the right one , but even though it says "kit", only one link is pictured. If I buy it do you think I'll get a pair, or just one side?

NO, REALLY?!

Sway bar links are almost always sold individually

Cool your jets there, Angry Alan; no need for the asshattery.

mine also, although for rear still effects lane changes. I have adapted to it, but waiting to get a spare tire well from a junkyard.

That could potentially be a problem...

Meh.... Sway bars are completely overrated.

An unfortunate result of a big front swaybar on the neon chassis. My SRT-4 ACR has a 24mm front swaybar. I even broke the energy suspension hardware (larger bolt)... If you buy a 'set' or 'kit' it should come with enough hardware to do both sides, but you should call the seller to be sure.
How do your front LCA rear bushings look ? The bushing rubber can seperate from the outer metal and the LCA will walk down the bushing (it's still captured by the K-member).
109,000 miles of smiles on the SRT-4 ACR...

Get a PT convertible front sway bar. Cheap, and 26mm iirc. Links are hella cheap too, get the aftermarket ones with poly bushings.

Happened to me on both my beater escorts. New kits are super cheap and come with stronger bolts. I always assumed that it was just some cost cutting with putting cheapo bolts in there
